Devinne Meyers is a force to be reckoned with. She was raised in Binghamton, NY, but started her performing career in Jefferson Parish, LA. Her influences are many, from indie artist Alanis Morrisette, to rocker Joan Jett, to country’s the Dixie Chicks, her music reflects a mix of many genres. She recorded her first album (“Unrefined”) as an entirely DIY project in 2012. Two years later, she founded the band East Coast Bigfoot, who recently released the EP, “In Search Of”. As a solo artist, she creates a sound that is all inventive and secured in roots-rock and folk. Her songs are always lyrically driven. Whether a haunting ballad like “Goodnight to No One”, or a full-on rocker like “42 Cents”, her soaring vocals always leave the listener wanting more.
