About the event

Join the Vestal Museum in celebrating local music at our LAST monthly event 2nd Saturday for the 2021 season! Featuring Second Suitor LIVE and IN PERSON on Saturday, November 13, 2021 from 5:30PM-7PM.

In the fall of 2017, Tyler Reed wrote a set of songs that felt different. After six years, 4 records, and hundreds of shows across the US, his band Lila Ignite had gone on hiatus. The time was right to make a change. Over one weekend in October, Tyler brought 5 new songs to his friend's studio in Philadelphia, and by the end of the weekend, Second Suitor's debut EP was born. Released in November 2017, The Sky is Falling Down, features Tyler performing every instrument. Espousing a 100% DIY ethic, Second Suitor is a labor of love and passion, exemplified by their live shows, where Tyler is often joined by a rotating cast of friends. Second Suitor isn't just the next chapter. It's the start of a new story.

Live sound provided by Matt Ebbers of Side Room Sounds.

The Vestal Museum’s monthly 2nd Saturday events are entirely FREE ADMISSION to the public - with the suggested donation to the Vestal Museum. Bring lawn chairs and sit distanced while enjoying the show - or if preferred park and roll down you windows for a drive-in experience. Masks required when unable to sit 6ft distance from each other. Show will be entirely outside on the front porch of our museum (dress for the weather!).

The Vestal Museum is located at 328 Vestal Parkway E, Vestal NY 13850 next to the Vestal Public Library.

Second Saturday is made possible with public funds from the Statewide Community Regrants Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and the New York State Legislature, and administered by The Earlville Opera House. Additional support for the Broome SCR Program graciously provided by the Stewart W. and Willma C. Hoyt Foundation, Inc.
